The Oracles in Ancient Greece, Shamans in Native American tribes, the witches in Medieval Europe - all had something in common: in their rituals they used hallucinogenic plants. Among them one particular flower that is both stunningly beautiful and highly psychoactive: Datura.
In the infamous "flying ointment" that is said to be used by witches in the Middle Ages, Datura was one of the main herbs among a few others like Belladonna and Henbane.

19 x 9,5 cm. This patch is designed and screen printed by myself in my home. Each patch is printed and cut individually by hand. The colours I use are eco friendly water based screen printing inks, the fabric is cotton canvas.

IMPORTANT INFO: After they're sewn on the patches are machine-washable at 40°C. To avoid fraying please make sure to fold the edge inward with an iron prior to sewing it on and use stitches that go around the edge (like buttonhole stitches) rather than stitching parallel to the edge.
